Cookie Policy
Effective May 23, 2026 · v1.0
Draft for legal review — not yet authoritative.
This Cookie Policy explains how Cosmedi Global uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or interact with the buyer platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy and forms part of the terms governing your use of the services.
2. How We Use Cookies
Cosmedi Global uses a limited number of cookies, and only those necessary to operate the website and the signed-in buyer experience. We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies — required to operate the website, including secure session handling for buyer-account sign-in.
- Functionality cookies — remember choices you make, such as preferred locale, to provide a more personalized experience.
- Security cookies — used to detect authentication abuse and to keep your buyer-account session secure.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in the future, this Policy will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested through a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our behalf. For example, when you sign in via Google OAuth, Google may set cookies under its own policies. We do not control cookies set by third parties; please refer to their own cookie and privacy notices for further information.
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them. Where we use persistent cookies, we choose retention periods proportionate to their purpose.
7. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit 'Do Not Track' signals to websites. Because no industry-wide standard for responding to such signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to them. We will revisit this position as standards develop.
8. Consent and Future Updates
Because the website does not currently set non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is presented today. If we begin to use cookies that require consent under applicable law, we will introduce a consent mechanism and obtain your agreement before such cookies are set.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, applicable law, or our use of cookies. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, by additional notice through the website.
